Lessons Learned And The Breakdown Of Humanity Realized

This is a great read about one guy, Bill, who took out to his camping site and ended up having to contend and deal with those who didn't prepare for anything. The story progresses by depicting those who felt they had a right to a fair share of what someone else planned for. It portrays the "entitlement" mindset of those who just don't get it, even though they are assisted with help and survival. But for them, that's not enough...and Bill finally gets fed up enough to be rid of them.
There will be thousands, upon tens of thousands of people in real life like those portrayed in this book. Even now, before any major breakdown or collapse, the entitlement mindset is running rampant. It will be one hundred fold as worse once society breaks down. And all these people will be looking for the Bill's of the world to mooch off of.
I recommend this book, albeit a short novel, to get a glimpse of what many will be up against if something like this ever occurs.

Fun reads in spite of editing problems.

Jerry isn't the best author but he is a good author for this style of book writing. I enjoy then and learn something from them, which is one of his main purposes (I believe). I wish he would get a better editor because there are so many silly spelling mistakes, bad punctuation, mixing of tenses. He needs to be more careful so that I don't have to stop to figure out what he meant to say. In spite of all of this, I like his stories and will continue to read them even if they go to a thousand stories. He always has a positive ending and I believe when TSHTF there will always be good people left.

I love Jerry D Young stories!! It has the right balance to light and heavy... as in it's not too fluffy but it's not going to give you nightmares. One thing about the stories is that the person always has a bunch of money and knowledge. Hhmm.. I hope if something ever happens then I am with someone like that cause I have neither lol
