LOVE!!!

I absolutely loved this book.... I devoured it in one day. What a great follow up to "confessions of a call center gal". This book had me laughing the whole time and well..... Working in a call center I could relate. I was in hysterics when she drank 5 7hour energies.... That's something I would probably do ha. And I loved her romance with Carter. I love how they grew together and changed each other for the better. :) I would recommend this book to anyone.... Especially any girl who works in a call center or a customer service environment. Well down Lisa Lim! Can't wait for your next book! :)

Fantastically fun!

She's the Boss is a "sort of" sequel to Confessions of a Call Center Gal, and, , although I encourage reading the first, it can easily be read on it's own. I loved the first book and I think this one was even better! Totally irreverant, refreshingly honest and real, Karsynn is absolutely perfect as the lead in this installment. I love that Kars doesn't take herself too seriously, and sometimes completely underestimates herself. This book is fabulous because it has a little bit of everything: insane amounts of humor, romance, good times and bad. The characters are totally real people, with all the quirks that we can recognize in people we know in our own lives. Truong was one of my favorite characters in Confessions and there was even more of him in this book which made me happy. Maddy makes a reappearance, too, as do many of the characters from the first book. I like that they weren't forgetten during Kars' story.
There were times when I was laughing out loud while I was reading this. Some of the character names are hysterical, as are a number of conversations with customers in the call center. Even Kars' inner dialogue frequently had me giggling. This is a fantastically fun read that I highly recommend!

An enjoyable, fast paced read with lot of sexual tension

I found this book charming, absorbing and laugh out loud funny. In this chick lit, the main female character is likeable, confident and not sitting around waiting for Prince Charming. Karsynn has a career as a manager is not looking for a man. She's looking to climb the corporate ladder and finds herself butting heads with the new director in town. There is the predictable sexual tension between the two (she's sexually attracted but always mad at him), but it's all done pretty well that you don't really care if it's predictable. The love story may be predictable, but there is a twist in the plot toward the end that I was not expecting.
I first discovered this author a few years ago; I picked up her first novel because I, too, work at a call center and I must say, I enjoyed this second book as much as the first one.
