Sloppy ebook work

Just want to chime in so that you don't think the other reviewer is a crank or a fluke. I downloaded the preview, and sure enough-- the strips are formatted to run across the screen when you're holding it in the "tall" direction. Turn the kindle sideways (you, know, the way that would perfectly fit a strip) and the content does NOT turn with you. And none of the panel view or grab and expand features that work for usual kindle content work for these strips.
So, to summarize. Berkeley Breathed is a genius. Whoever thought of putting the complete Bloom County in digital format was a genius. Whoever actually scanned and formatted the content for sale to kindle users is a dope. In its current form, the Bloom County Digital Library is unusable.

Unreadable formatting

I bought books 1-3 and loved them, even though some of the strips are ever so slightly different from other anthologies(?). However, I will not buy, and do not recommend you buy, the last volumes 5-9 until someone (publisher? Amazon?) fixes the formatting issue so that the strips can be read in landscape mode.
I'm waiving money...ready to buy...fix it please!

No landscape, "zoom" panels too small on iPad mini

I have to agree with the other reviewers. Berkeley Breathed's work is pure genius but this implementation in digital is lobotomized. Here's a tip, when you "zoom" on a panel, it should be big enough to read AND show no signs of digitization on any supported device (iPad, iPad Mini, iPad with Retina Display, Kindle, etc.). The introduction text--completely unreadable (and un-zoomable). No search function? What about the author's and editor's notes? The hardbound volumes are amazing. I'd love to carry their digital versions with me everywhere I go...but not when it infuriates me just to read a panel.
