About the Author
Kathryn Quick lives in New Jersey with her husband Don and son Jarrett, who currently is attending New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire; maybe even for the entire semester (at the very least there will be a book in his adventures away from home and on the path to knowledge). She also has grown twin sons: Scott who lives in Arizona, and Mark who is a corrections officer for the County of Somerset and lives in New Jersey.
Kathryn is a member of New Jersey Romance Writers, Bucks County Romance Writers, New Jersey Association of Mystery and Romance Writers, and Romance Writers of America.
Kathryn has a few more stories still trapped inside her mind; stories she hopes to share with readers in the near future.

Fallen in love with this cute story...

Falling for You, by Kathryn Quick, was an enjoyable, cute story that I believe every romance novel junkie would absolutely LOVE!
In this story, you get to read a cute tale that lacks the sexual sizzle, but makes up for it in the sweetness factor. While I understand that some fans of the romance genre will look for sizzling sex stories and loads of drama, you will admit once reading this story, that this light read is completely enjoyable. Actually, I see this as a real breath of fresh air because there is more of an opportunity to connect with the characters more.
Marty is definitely one heck of a "prince charming" to Stephanie. A story of falling in love with a person by one change meeting. Stephanie, a widow and mother to a teenage boy, tries to support her child and be all that she can be as a single parent. Marty, a retired pro hockey player, that has it all, but not a true soulmate that makes him feel. That is, until he comes across Stephanie at the ice rink he owns. Stephanie is a clumsy woman and not meant to skate, but her son is a hockey fanatic and is on a team that plays at Marty's rink. The attraction is instant, but handled as gently as they can muster since the connection is extremely electric for them. Two people from different status levels finding love is what this is about.
As I mentioned, it is not filled with sexual tension, sexual sizzle, and drama, but completely enjoyable for a light read. Definitely recommendable to a friend to read. So, if you are looking for a cute, light, sweet, quick read... look no further!

Formulaic and chaste

This formulaic romance between a single mother and ex-hockey star offers very little to the reader, not even sex since the characters never get beyond kissing even though he is 38 and she just a little younger. I never once believed in the paper-thin characters and their trivial dilemmas. He lives alone in an 18-room mansion. She lives with her son in 6-room house. The solution? They'll find a 12-room home to live in together. Please!

Loved it! Well set up and didn't abruptly end, leaving the reader wanting a longer ending. This one was a full, complete, story.
