I am a fan of this author and found this book to be so good. This book is smaller than some but does not lack in character development or story line. This book is about Ty who loves his best friend but has been worried about telling her. Olivia feels the same but can not see how Ty can see past what she looks like to really care about her. This is a great story about love that even though it takes a little while to get there can be a powerful thing. If you have ever read this author you will enjoy this story, if not then pick up this book and give her a try you will not be disappointed. I would recommend this book to anyone

More like a Christmas gift for me :) .

More like a Christmas gift for me :) than Her Christmas Present. This short read was so fun. It is one of those "Finally" ever after tales that I love. It is the perfect length for a before bed read and while it does not have a lot about their lives together before this story begins, it is a complete story in and of itself. If you are a fan of Christin Lovell's Vampeen series, please not that this is not a YA read. In fact, it is a super steamy read with a full figured woman and 100% meant for the 18 plus crowd.

A Sweet, Sexy, Christmas Love Story

This is definitely an erotica, so if you don't like reading detailed explicit sex scenes, this book isn't for you. It's a sweet short story about a two lifelong friends, Tyler, aka Ty, and Olivia, who are both secretly in love with each other.
It starts with Tyler coming home for the holidays, or to the person he wants to call home, anyway. The point of view switch between the two from chapter to chapter, but is so extremely well written, that it doesn't take away from the story at all.
The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars (), is because, even though it can be inferred through the dialogue, it doesn't mention that Tyler is a lawyer until the very end. It give much detail as to what Olivia does for a living.
It is solely focused on what is currently happening with the couple, and doesn't give much depth to the characters, like what life choices they made in the past that led them to where they are now, in other words, it doesn't give much background history.
For instance, it says, "Her parents’ house had been a gathering place for us growing up since she was an only child and my five brothers were annoying as s***. After her dad - then her mom - passed, ... she inherited their house," but doesn't mention how old Olivia was at the time of their death, the time frame between each death, or how her parents died. This is also the only time the story talks about Tyler's brothers and the only other time it mentions his family is when Olivia berated, scolds him coming straight to her place, instead of stopping by to see his parents.
Don't get me wrong; it's a great story, but it's so short that it doesn't go into much detail of the past.
