Save your money. As of this writing this is the worst material I've read on billiards.

I purchased the entire set of 6 books and posted the following review. I just wanted to repost to Book 1 in case others are thinking of buying any of these books.
I consider myself an advanced pool player. I'm always seeking knowledge on the game of pool and other billiard games.
This book(e-book) is very vague and will not make a lot of sense to a novice player.
Even to an advanced player the information is vague. Albeit a rare occasion that the information is clear it is normally bad information.
One example from the first book is discussing rail shots. The author states that basically every rail shot can be made by using a half ball aim(center of cue ball/cue stick aimed at outside edge of object ball...which this is not even properly defined in the book). This is ridiculous.
Most of the aiming discussed in the book is Fractional Diamond aiming which is absolutely the most ridiculous concept I have ever seen. The author states that aiming at half ball on the object ball will move the object ball 2 diamonds to the right. That doesn't hold true but for a very small area of the table. Moving the object ball up or down the table will change the amount of diamonds the ball shifts. Horrible concept and the instruction is even worse.
I probably won't waste my time reading any more of the books since book 1 is the most ill conceived book on billiards ever published.
For a pool player of ANY level there are a few books I would recommend.
The number one book PERIOD...bar none....THE HOLY GRAIL:
1. Byrne's New Standard Book of Pool and Billiards
Robert Byrne is intelligent, funny and most of all interesting and an excellent teacher. Officially my man crush.
2. Any of Robert Byrne's other books.
3. Capelle's Practicing Pool....get the spiral bound edition so you can lay it flat on the pool table and do the drills. If you don't get better in a few days of practicing with this book....find another hobby or call a coroner.
4. The Illustrated Principles of Pool and Billiards
Dr. Dave is an Engineering Professor. He is VERY TECHNICAL but at the same time does a good job explaining things to layman...although you may have to review the material a few times to 'get it'. There is probably not a single concept ever conceived that Dr. Dave doesn't cover in his Video Series. If you have the bucks then get his book and his videos. http://billiards.colostate.edu/
5. The 99 Critical Shots in Pool: Everything You Need to Know to Learn and Master the Game
